A peça Vectorial-modular para orquestra ganhou o 1º prémio do VI Concurso Internacional de Composição da Póvoa de Varzim. O júri, presidido por Christopher Bochmann, e constituído por Pedro Amaral, Carlos Caires, Carlos Marecos e pelo maestro Luís Carvalho, deliberou ontem após a estreia das peças a concurso. O 2º prémio foi para a peça Sopros de um vento extinto de Osvaldo Fernandes.
The work ‘Vectorial-modular’ won the first prize of the VI International Composition Competition of Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal. The juri, headed by Christopher Bochmann, and featuring Pedro Amaral, Carlos Caires, Carlos Marecos and maestro Luís Carvalho, awarded the prize yesterday after the premiere of the two competing works. Second prize was awarded to the piece ‘Sopros de um vento extinto’ by Osvaldo Fernandes.

A peça Vectorial-modular (2011), para orquestra, foi seleccionada para a fase final do 6º Concurso Internacional de Composição da Póvoa de Varzim. A estreia terá lugar no dia 22 de Julho de 2011, pelas 21h, no Auditório Municipal da Póvoa de Varzim.
The work ‘Vectorial-modular‘ (2011), for orchestra, was selected for the final phase of the 6th International Composition Contest of Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal. The premiere will take place on 22 July 2011, at 9 pm, at the Municipal Auditorium, Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal.

A peça Configurazioni, versão com electrónica em tempo-real, foi seleccionada para o 1º Fórum para Jovens Compositores do Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble. O concerto e debate terá lugar no dia 20 de Maio às 19h no Goethe-Institut, em Lisboa.
The work ‘Configurazioni’, live-electronics version, was selected for the 1st Young Composers Forum of the Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble. Concert and forum will take place on 20 May at 7 p.m at the Goethe-Institut, Lisboa, Portugal.
