This November, recordings of the piece Dégradé will take place in London with the wonderful CHROMA Ensemble, conducted by Christopher Austin. This recording will also be part of an upcoming CD to be announced soon.

In December, two pieces will be recorded by the wonderful ensemble recherche at the Ensemblehaus, in Freiburg. The first piece is called A Walk in the Countryside, which was premiered by Martin Fahlenbock (Recherche’s flutist) back in 2016. The second piece is called Elementos, for piano trio, and was premiered by Trio Adamastor at Casa da Música in 2018.

Pianist Alexander Soares and recording engineer Hugo Romano Guimarães joined me at Casa da Música in late July 2019 to record the piece NowState, premiered last January at the Southbank Centre. Among other pieces, it will feature on a CD, the details of which will follow as soon as the project becomes more consolidated. The piece Ex machina colores will be premiered on the 9th of December 2018, 6pm, at Casa da Música, Portugal, by the Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música, conducted by Baldur Brönnimann. The title alludes to process of creating harmony through computer programming. The piece is dedicated to composer Luís Tinoco. Click here for tickets.
