The piece #where_we’re_going will be premiered on the 4th of November 2018, 6pm, at Casa da Música, Portugal, by the Remix Ensemble, conducted by Peter Rundel. The piece’s title refers to the hashtag commonly used today in social networks. The piece is dedicated to composer and conductor Christopher Bochmann. Click here for tickets.

As part of the artistic residency at Casa da Música, Portugal, I have composed a new piano trio piece. Called Elementos (elements), it will be premiered by Trio Adamastor on the 9th of October 2018, 7:30pm, at Sala 2. The event and tickets can be found here.

The piece A Walk in the Countryside, for solo flute, has been selected by the International Society for Contemporary Music for performance at the ISCM World New Music Days in Vancouver, Canada. The festival will take place from 2-8 November. The flute piece — commissioned by Ensemble Recherche, Germany, and developed with its flutist Martin Fahlenbock — will be performed by Mark McGregor.

A new work will be premiered by the Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble (Lisbon, Portugal) on the 21st of October, 2017. The Sond’Ar-te is an amazing ensemble, setup by Miguel and Paula Azguime. It performs regularly at O’culto da Ajuda, a recent and rather unique venue in Lisbon where the concert will take place.
